Start with a large juicy watermelon and cookie cutters of your choice:

Next, slice watermelon like this:

Now the kids can use their cookie cutters. But make sure you have lots of paper towels nearby-it’s messy!

If you’d like to take it a step further, you could insert a wooden stick and freeze them for a cool treat on a hot day! Yum!
